Bicycle tour from the city of Valencia to the town of Alboraya, going through a part of the millenary Huerta de Valencia through the bike lanes or a path.

The tour is led by a professional guide who will ask us our preferences at the beginning, to make the tour as adjusted as possible to the characteristics of the group or the crops that at that time are more spectacular in the orchards.

The tour aims to show, in the most enjoyable and relaxed way, the traditional way of life of the Huerta de Valencia. A millenary orchard that always knew how to take advantage of the great fertility of the land and provide it with an irrigation system for more than two thousand years.

All kinds of vegetables such as lettuce, cauliflower, tomatoes, peppers, artichokes, onions,... and also, especially in Alboraya and the surrounding area, the tiger nut, which is the base of the famous horchata, a gorgeous drink that delighted the Valencian people even 1500 years ago, are grown in the orchard. 

On the way we will have the opportunity to see the fields being worked, some of them still with the traditional plows pulled by a horse, which is really part of the family. We will also be able to see how some of the products harvested the next day (or the same day) will arrive at the Central Market or some faraway point in our geography. We will also see some family resting under a vine or in the shade of a fig tree as if the time had passed with them.

And of course we will go for a horchata with fartons in one of the best horchaterías in the world.

This tour can be an excellent starting point for subsequent private visits on an individual basis, but perhaps the most interesting thing is to book an extension of the tour and continue the visit on an individual basis (without a guide) for as long as you like.
